Take-Two Interactive entertainment revealed during an investors meeting yesterday that the Grand Theft Auto franchise has sold over 370 million copies worldwide, up 15 million from the previous quarter. Grand Theft Auto V sales make up 5 million of the 15 million, which means that 10 million copies were from other games in the franchise.

The only new release between the previous quarter and now is Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series. Rockstar Games also delisted the original trilogy from most digital storefronts which could mean that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition accounted for the majority of the other 10 million copies sold.

Rockstar Games has yet to reveal official figures for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition but Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, has claimed that the game has performed “great” and that it “significantly exceeded” their sales expectations. Zelnick has also confirmed that they are committed to fixing the issues with the game.
