D3 Publisher has announced that Earth Defense Force 6 has shipped over 300,000 copies in Japan across the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, this figure also includes digital sales. This makes it the fastest-selling game in the franchise. Earth Defense Force 6 sold 68,341 on the PS4 and 24,363 on the PS5 for a combined total of 92,704. It’s unclear how many physical copies were shipped for the launch this could mean that almost 70% of the total sales were digital.

A western release for Earth Defense Force 6 has not yet been confirmed.
