Capcom has announced a Resident Evil Showcase for the 21st of January 2021, the showcase will reveal new information about Resident Evil Village, premiere a new trailer and showcase gameplay. The event will be available on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter. Capcom has also opened applications for a closed beta for a project celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise. The closed beta will be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from the 28th to the 30th of January 2021. Details on the project will be revealed at the Resident Evil Showcase event.
