Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch Is The First Phase Of A 10 Year Plan

Kōjirō Taniguchi, producer of Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection), has announced that the movie is the first phase in a ten year plan for the series. Toshiro Fujiwara, producer at Sunrise, also claimed that the plans will include several forms including anime and manga. No other details were revealed. Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch premiered on the 9th of February 2018 and has since grossed over 1 billion Yen ($9 million).


Blizzard To Continue Expanding The Overwatch Universe

J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment, has announced that Activision Blizzard will continue expanding the Overwatch universe for the foreseeable future. According to Brack new heroes, maps and experiences will be added over the 2019 and 2020 financial periods as they continue to grow the game. Brack also confirmed that they are working on some “other work” they have in the pipelines but they did not clarify what that is. Overwatch is currently available on the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.

5-toubun no Hanayome Season 2 Announced

The 5-toubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) anime is getting a second season, the announcement was made at the Five Brides special event in Tokyo’s Yomiuri Hall. No other details were revealed but we did get a teaser trailer for the second season.

The 5-toubun no Hanayome manga series was created by Negi Haruba, the first chapter was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine on the 9th of August 2017, the series has since produced nine books worth of content.

MAL synopsis:

A high school romantic comedy with five times the cute girls! A high school boy must work part-time to help five sisters study so they can graduate, but the only thing these quintuplets have in common is that they all hate studying!

Five girls who want to do anything but study, and their tutor: a high school boy who’s got book smarts and not much else. Fuutarou Uesugi took the tutoring gig because he was desperate for cash, but when his students—the five beautiful daughters of a wealthy businessman—find five times the excuses to slack off, what can he do?! At this rate, the sisters won’t graduate, so if he wants to get paid, Fuutarou must think of a plan to suit each of them… Which feels hopeless when five out of five of them think he’s a loser!

Ubisoft Teases New Ghost Recon Announcement

Ubisoft have updated the website for Skell Technology, a fictional company within the Ghost Recon universe that manufactures drones and robots for civilian use. The website now has a teaser for a “Skellcon” event which takes place on the 9th of May 2019 at 8:30 pm CEST. No other details have been revealed as of yet. This could be a teaser for Ghost Recon Wildlands 2 or for a Year 3 Pass.

Rage 2 Has Gone Gold, Performance Details & PC Requirements Announced

Bethesda has officially announced that Rage 2 has gone gold ahead of release for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One on the 14th of May 2019. Additionally Bethesda also revealed how the game will perform on consoles and PC as well as the requirements for PC, here’s the rundown:

Original Claptrap Voice Actor Won’t Be Returning For Borderlands 3

David Eddings, the voice actor who lent his voice to Claptrap in Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands The Pre-Sequel and Tales from the Borderlands, has announced that he will not be reprising his role in Borderlands 3. Eddings claims that the reason he isn’t involved in Borderlands 3 is due to monetary issues, he also doesn’t want fans to get upset with Gearbox Software as his departure created opportunities for others.

Here’s what Eddings had to say in a tweet:

“For the first time, I insisted on getting paid for my performance and all of a sudden they couldn’t afford me. Now I’m not telling them how to run their business but maybe next time they should put the $12M payment from 2K in the Gearbox bank account instead”

UK Charts: Days Gone Was The Best Selling Physical Release

Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studio’s Days Gone has topped the UK Charts for April, becoming the best selling physical game for the month within just 5 days. Days Gone had a weaker opening than both Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War but that could be attributed to the rise in digital sales. The PlayStation 4 also saw an increase in market share with 49% of all physical sales coming on the the platform. Here are the 10 best selling games for April:
