A new report from Jeff Grubb has claimed that Sony Interactive Entertainment is planning on hosting a PlayStation event in May 2024. According to Grubb the event will feature several first-party reveals and a possible release date for Konami and Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake. It is currently unclear as to whether the event will be a Showcase or a State of Play.

Sony Group has previously confirmed that there won’t be any major existing IP launching before April 2025 but there are still several games that have not yet been dated. We also don’t know what the majority of first-party studios are working on so the event could finally shed some light on what Hermen Hulst and his teams have been cooking up.
