Circana’s Mat Piscatella has revealed that Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Helldivers 2 was the best-selling game in the United States for the month of February 2024. Helldivers 2 is also the best-selling game of 2024 to date with almost 60% of sales coming from Steam. It is also the 7th highest-grossing game of all time from PlayStation.

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth ranked second in the charts for February 2024 but it’s worth noting that the game is only available on the PlayStation 5 and that it launched on the last day of February. It is also worth noting that the Twin Pack release is counted separately. Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth is the 4th best-selling game of the year whilst the Twin Pack ranks 16th.
