Atlus has announced that the Persona 5 Royal remaster for the PlayStation 5, PC, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series has sold over 1.7 million copies worldwide. The game sold 1.3 million copies as of the 31st of December 2022, meaning 400,000 copies were sold during the 3-month period ending on the 31st of March 2023.

Persona 5 Royal has now sold over 3.5 million copies when including sales of the original PlayStation 4 release. The Persona 5 series of games, which includes Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and Persona 5 Strikers, has sold over, 9 million copies worldwide.
