Ready at Dawn, the studio behind The Order 1886 and God of War: Ghost of Sparta, has been subject to major layoffs at Meta. A third of the studio’s workforce has been cut following Meta’s disappointing performance in the VR market. Among those laid off was one of the studio heads, it’s currently unclear as to which one was cut from the team. Thomas Griebel, former senior engineering programmer at the studio, was also among those impacted by layoffs. Meta nor Ready at Dawn has commented on the layoffs.
