Insomniac Games, the studio behind Marvel’s Spider-Man and Ratchet & Clank, now has 520 employees working at its two studios. Insomniac had around 275 employees just before the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man and had grown to over 400 before the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

This rapid growth shouldn’t come as a surprise as the studio is currently working on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Marvel’s Wolverine and a new multiplayer title. Insomniac Games was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2019 for $229 million after working on second-party titles with PlayStation for over 25 years.
