Square Enix has announced that NieR: Automata has sold over 7.5 million copies worldwide across the PlayStation 4, PC, Switch and Xbox One since releasing in February 2017. The last sales update was in November 2022 when the game had sold 7 million copies, meaning that an additional 500,000 copies were sold during the last six months.
