Electronic Arts has confirmed BioWare veteran Mark Darrah has returned to work on Dragon Age: Deadwolf on a consultant basis. Darrah left the studio in 2019 to work as an independent consultant and contributed to Baulder’s Gate and Sonic Chronicles. EA has also confirmed that the Mass Effect team is assisting on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf whilst a smaller team continues work on the next sci-fi title.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has been in the post-production stage since October 2022 and is currently playable from start to finish. Despite this, Electronic Arts are insisting that it will let BioWare takes its time with the development process to make the studio “gets it right for its fans”. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is currently without a release window, platforms for the title have yet to be confirmed.
