Hero’s Inc. has announced that the anime adaptation of Aoi Akashiro and Sonshou Hangetsuban’s Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou (God’s Activity in a World Without Gods) manga series will premiere on the 5th of April 2023 in Japan. It’s currently unclear as to where the anime will be available in the West.

Aoi Akashiro and Sonshou Hangetsuban began the manga in May 2019, it has since released 5 volumes worth of content. Akashiro-san, co-creator of the series, has also worked on several scripts for anime adaptations including Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e, Killing Bites and KonoSuba.

MAL Synopsis:

Yukito’s parents are the leaders of a cult. After he gets sacrificed, he gets reincarnated into another world where religion doesn’t exist and porn books are akin to a child’s doodles. He finds that it’s also a world where your life and death is decided by the country. While obstructing his friend’s execution, both of them lose their lives. Just at that moment, the god of his religion comes to their world and revives them.
