A new report from IGN has claimed that Sony Interactive Entertainment, Nintendo and Microsoft will all be skipping E3 2023. IGN has also claimed that all three platform holders have opted not to have a floor presence at the event either. The Entertainment Software Association cancelled the E3 2022 event but did confirm that E3 would return in 2023 in both physical and digital formats. Microsoft has also confirmed that it will be hosting a Summer showcase in Los Angeles that will be “convenient for press and even consumers that are going to the E3 event”.
