Radek Grabowski, global PR director for CD Projekt Red, has confirmed that the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 has the largest budget that the studio has ever allocated for an expansion. The Blood and Wine expansion for The Witcher 3 was the previous record holder.

This isn’t really a surprise when you consider the cast for the expansion, big names like Idris Elba and Sasha Grey have been confirmed for the expansion, Keanu Reeves will also be returning to play Johnny Silverhand. The Phantom Liberty expansion is due out in 2023 for the PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series, it will include a new campaign.
