Crystal Dynamics has announced that it is ending support for Marvel’s Avengers on the 30th of September 2023, after which the game will be delisted on all digital storefronts. Crystal Dynamics claims that the decision was made in “conjunction with our partners”, meaning that both Marvel Games and Square Enix agree with the move.

A final balance patch will be released on the 31st of March 2023, this will be the last update for the game. The game will remain playable, both the campaign and multiplayer modes will remain available. It’s currently unclear as to how the servers will remain up. After the balance patch, all cosmetics and store items will become free. All in-game currency will be converted into resources, no refunds for purchases will be provided.
