Looking back on 2022 it becomes clear that this was one of the best years in video gaming, we saw a number of stellar releases both in the indie and AAA space. We also saw some incredible upgrades for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series and best of all, we got two of the best games ever made in Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok.

2022 was also the year CD Projekt Red began its redemption arc, the studio released excellent next-gen upgrades for both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3. Not everything from 2022 was great however, the industry took major steps toward consolidation with Microsoft, Sony and The Embracer Group all contributing to this problem.

Also, Stadia ate dirt…lol. Anyway, here’s the best of 2022.
