Amazon has confirmed that it has ordered a TV series adaptation of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s God of War series. Rafe Judkins, producer of The Wheel of Time, will serve as the showrunner and Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, creators of The Expanse, will direct the series. Sony Pictures Television will co-produce the series with PlayStation Productions. Cory Barlog, creative director at Santa Monica Studio, and Yumi Yang along with Jeff Ketcham, also of Santa Monica Studio, will all serve as executive producers of the series.
No other details were revealed.
