Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has sold over 4 million copies worldwide across the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. This puts the lifetime sales of the franchise over 18 million. The last sales update for the game was in August 2021 when it hit the 3 million milestone, during which Bandai Namco confirmed that the next mainline game in the franchise was in development.
