Hiroshi Takai, director of Final Fantasy XVI, has confirmed that a release date for the game will be announced before the end of 2023. Takai-san also revealed that Final Fantasy XVI is 95% complete and that the team is currently “ironing out any rough patches” and working on rendering issues. After this is done the team will begin working on bug fixes.
Final Fantasy XVI is due out in the Summer of 2023 for the PlayStation 5, the game is also in development for PC.
