Christophe Gans, director of the Silent Hill movie, has claimed that there are multiple Silent Hill games in development at several teams. Gans, who is also rumored to be working on a new Silent Hill movie, has claimed that he is currently working with the creators of the series and Konami. This is how Gans claims to have gotten this information. According to Gans, Konami plans to revive the franchise after seeing the success of the recent horror games and the Resident Evil remakes.

Various reports and insiders have corroborated Gans’ claims over the past two years. Bloober Team, the studio behind The Medium, entered into a partnership with Konami to work on its IP, the studio has been rumored to be working on a Silent Hill 2 remake. A report from VGC has also claimed that Konami outsourced the Silent Hill IP to a Japanese developer. Sony Interactive Entertainment has also been linked to the Silent Hill revival but no specific details about that were revealed.
