Aniplex has announced that the NieR: Automata anime adaptation, which has been titled NieR: Automata Ver1.1a, will premiere in January 2023. Aniplex has also confirmed that the Japanese cast from the game will be returning to reprise their roles in the anime adaptation. The anime adaptation will also feature new arrangements of the music from the game.
