Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Codename RED and Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE, both games will be part of the Assassin’s Creed Infinity live-service project. Ubisoft also detailed a little more about Assassin’s Creed Infinity, claiming that it will “connect players through different types of Assassin’s Creed experiences, old and new”. Assassin’s Creed Infinity will also contain multiplayer experiences.
Assassin’s Creed Codename RED will be the “next evolution of” the franchise, the game will be set in Feudal Japan. The game is in development at Ubisoft Quebec, the team behind Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. No other details were revealed.
Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE details are more scarce, Ubisoft describes it as the new “flagship title” in the franchise and claims that it will be a “very different type” of experience. The game is in development at Ubisoft Montreal, the team behind Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Leaks claim that the game will take place in 16th century Europe and will focus on witch hunting.
