Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the next mainline entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. No platforms or release window was revealed however Ubisoft has confirmed that more information about the game will be shared on the 10th of September 2022 at the Ubisoft Forward event.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is rumored to take place in Baghdad and will feature Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Basim. j0nathan, a notorious Assassin’s Creed leaker, has also claimed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will return to the series’ roots, adding Assassin’s Creed Unity-like crowds, the return of throwing knives and hiding spots on roofs. He has also claimed that Baghdad will be the only city in the game but that it’s split into four sections, each of which has its own boss.

Ubisoft previously confirmed the existence of Assassin’s Creed Infinity after it was leaked by Bloomberg, Infinity is a live-service platform that will tie several games in the franchise together. No specific details about the project were revealed but it seems like it will be a hub that changes over time as new titles are released.
