A new report from Deadline has claimed that Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions are working on a live-action Days Gone. A separate report has also claimed that PlayStation Productions are working on a Gravity Rush movie, it’s currently unclear as to whether the movie will be live-action or not, it is also unclear as to whether Sony Pictures is involved in the distribution of the movie.

The live-action Days Gone movie is reportedly in production with Sheldon Turner (X-Men: First Class) as the screenwriter. Outlander‘s Sam Heughan is the favourite to play Deacon Lee St. John despite the character’s likeness being based on Sam Witwer who also lends his voice to the role.

The Gravity Rush movie will reportedly be directed by Anna Mastro (Secret Society of Second-Born Royals) and the script will be written by Emily Jerome (Panopticon). Scott Free Productions (Blade Runner 2049) are the producers of the movie. It’s unclear as to whether the creators of the series are involved in the movie project.
