Bungie has announced that the Lightfall expansion for Destiny 2 will release on the 28th of February 2023 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Stadia. The new expansion will add the Strand subclass, a new form of Darkness abilities, a new location and a new campaign.
Bungie has also announced that it will no longer be vaulting expansions for the game, a method that Bungie claims would help make the game easier to manage and remove bloat. Bungie has yet to reveal when vaulted expansions and campaigns would return to the game.
