Arc System Works has confirmed that it is working on several updates for Guilty Gear: Strive, the updates are planned from the Summer of 2022 into 2023.

A roadmap for the updates was revealed during the PlayStation Tournaments: EVO Lounge event, here is what’s planned:

Summer 2022:

• New Character #6
• Additional Character Color
• PlayStation 5: Reduced input delay
• PC: Reduced the connection time for the initial server connections

Fall 2022:

• Cross-Play Beta Test (all platforms): This global test is planed to be held during mid-September. More information such as how to join the beta test will be announced soon.
• Cross-Play Update
• New Character #7

Winter 2022:

• Battle Balance Patch

• Additional Stage #3
• New Character #9
