Backbone has announced that it will be releasing a PlayStation version of its Backbone One controller for iPhones. The controller is exactly the same as the standard Backbone One controller except it’s white and has the PlayStation icons. The Backbone One – PlayStation Edition will also have a customised version of the Backbone app that will have a “dedicated row with new releases and updates” directly from PlayStation.

The Backbone One features direct plug and play so there is little to no latency issues and also has a charging passthrough. It’s currently unclear as to whether the Backbone One – PlayStation Edition will be getting an Android version, the standard Backbone One does however have both iOS and Android variants. The controller will set you back $99 and is available for purchase now.
