Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it will be shutting down online servers for Guerrilla Games’ Killzone: Mercenary, Killzone: Shadow Fall and RIGS: Mechanized Combat League on the 12th of August 2022. Once the servers shut down all online modes for the games will be unavailable, the singleplayer modes will still be available.

Once the servers are taken offline the Platinum trophy for all three games will no longer be obtainable and all three have multiplayer trophies. Sony Interactive Entertainment has also confirmed that the Intercept expansion for Killzone: Shadow Fall will be leaving PlayStation Plus Extra soon, likely because it will be unplayable once the servers are taken down.
