Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy X series has sold over 20.8 million copies worldwide across all platforms. This includes sales from Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 as well as the HD Remaster. The last official sales update was in October 2013 when the series had reached the 14 million milestone, given that this was before the release of the HD Remaster it would be safe to assume that it accounts for the majority of the 6.8 million copies sold since.
