UPDATE: The autopsy has revealed that Takahashi-san died from drowning and it is unlikely to involve foul play.

Kazuki Takahashi, creator of the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise, has passed away, he was 60 years old. Takahashi was found by the Japan Coast Guard near Nago city in Okinawa on the 6th of July 2022, when found he was equipped with snorkelling gear. The coast guard was alerted after a report claimed that a body was floating 300 meters from a resort. Police are currently investigating his death. No other information was released.
