Toru Nakahara, head of film and TV for Sega, has confirmed that Sega is currently looking into producing live-action adaptations of Atlus titles like Persona. Nakahara-san believes that Atlus titles are filled with drama, style and compelling characters, making them perfect for film and TV. Nakahara-san, who also produced the recent Sonic movies, claims that live-action adaptations of Atlus titles will bring the stories to new people and will allow Sega to expand on the lore of the IPs. No other details were revealed.
