Hidetaka Miyazaki, president of FromSoftware, has announced that the studio is working on multiple projects and plans to support Elden Ring with future updates. Miyazaki-san also confirmed that his next title is already in the final stages of development. During the build-up for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Miyazaki-san revealed that FromSoftware had three teams working on games, the first was Sekiro, the second was Elden Ring and the third is the unannounced title.

Miyazaki-san has also revealed that he would like to work on more with a more “abstract fantasy” theme than anything the studio has done so far. According to Miyazaki-san, the concepts he’s come up with so far do not fit the traditional FromSoftware game. Miyazaki-san believes that fans will get to see a “new colour” to FromSoftware in the near future. FromSoftware has also confirmed that the work environment and pay structure for its employees has improved, the basic bonus last quarter was a fourth-month bonus after the release of Elden Ring.

Finally, Miyazaki-san confirmed that FromSoftware will be expanding the development staff and that he will be entrusting more projects to other teams at the studio. Currently, there are several projects being produced at FromSoftware without Miyazaki-san’s direct involvement.
