Invest Liverpool has announced that Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Firesprite has secured a lease in Liverpool’s Duke Street which now gives it 50,000 square feet of floor space. This is more than 20 times the size of Firesprite’s current space in Fleet Street, which is 2,295 square feet. The lease of the new premises is 10 years.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has yet to reveal its plans for Firesprite, no new job listings from the studio were posted either. Firesprite is co-developing Horizon Call of the Mountain with Guerilla Games for the PlayStation VR2 and assisting with Star Citizen, it is also rumored to be working on a Twisted Metal reboot, a horror game and a multiplayer project. Firesprite also acquired Fabrik Games with who it co-developed The Persistence.
