Square Enix has announced that it will be hosting a 25th-anniversary livestream for Final Fantasy VII on the 16th of June 2022 at 15:00 PT, it will be available on YouTube and Twitch. Tetsuya Nomura, creative director for the Final Fantasy VII remake project, has also confirmed that the stream will last for approximately 10 minutes and will be jam-packed with information. No other details were revealed. Hashtags from the reveal tweet do mention both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Future Soldier so it’s likely that both games will be featured.
