PlayStation Direct, the official retail front for Sony Interactive Entertainment, has revealed The Last of Us Part I, a remake of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, for the PlayStation 5. The Last of Us Part I will be available on PS5 both physically and digitally on the 2nd of September 2022, a PC version is also in development but no release window was revealed. The remake will cost $69,99, a special Firefly Edition will also be available but no additional details were revealed.

Earlier this week The Snitch, a leaker that revealed the entire June State of Play lineup, claimed that the remake would release in September 2022. The PlayStation Store database listing for God of War Ragnarok has since changed the release window for the game to the 31st of December 2022, hinting at a possible delay for the game. A report from Gamereactor has also claimed that God of War Ragnarok has been delayed to 2023.

More details for The Last of Us Part 1 will likely be revealed at the Summer Game Fest.
