Sega has announced Sonic Frontiers: Prologue, an animation special set before the events of Sonic Frontiers and features Knuckles as the main protagonist. A teaser for the animation was also released, the full animation will be released later in 2022 before the release of the game.

IGN has also released a new gameplay video for the game as part of its partnership with Sega, IGN will also have exclusive coverage of Sonic Frontiers throughout the month.

Sonic Frontiers is due out this Holiday for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
