Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the PlayStation 5 has sold over 20 million consoles worldwide, this is up 1 million from the previous update which had it at 19 million as of the 31st of March 2022. Veronica Rogers, SVP and head of global sales and business operations at Sony Interactive Entertainment, also assured fans that have yet to secure a PS5 console that Sony is working on a “significant ramp-up” in production during the current financial year.
