A new report from Oops Leaks has claimed that JP Games, the new studio founded by Hajime Tabata, is working on a game for PlayStation as part of a new partnership. The report also claims that the game will be a PlayStation console exclusive, meaning that it will likely come to PC as well and that the game could be revealed at the State of Play event in June.
Tabata-san was the chief operating officer at Square Enix’s Luminous Productions, he was also the head of Square Enix’s Business Division 2 and a part of the Final Fantasy Committee. Tabata-san was the producer of Final Fantasy XV and the director of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. He left Square Enix in October 2018.
