A recent job listing from Sony Interactive Entertainment hints toward a PlayStation launcher for PC, something I have been suggesting for quite some time now. The job description states that applicants will be expected to integrate PlayStation Network in future PC projects.

Sony Interactive Entertainment was also looking for a UX Design Manager to work on mobile, PC and web applications that were specifically for PlayStation’s “off-console experience”. This should not come as a surprise as both Sony and Sony Interactive Entertainment have expressed a desire to become more multiplatform

Should Sony Interactive Entertainment release a PC launcher it won’t change its plans with regard to Steam and EGS releases as Kenichiro Yoshida, CEO of Sony Group, specifically mentioned both storefronts in its multiplatform plans.
