Sony Pictures has confirmed that the Uncharted movie adaptation has earned over $400.8 million at the international box office, making it the fourth highest-grossing movie of 2022. Uncharted is now also the fourth-highest grossing video game movie adaptation of all time.

Tom Rothman, chairman of Sony Pictures, has already confirmed that Uncharted is the next film franchise for Sony, hinting that there will be sequels. Ruben Fleischer, director of the movie, has also confirmed that he wants to continue working on the film franchise.
