Sony Interactive Entertainment’s London Studio is working on a multiplayer game for the PlayStation 5 with a fantasy setting, the game will be a live-service title. The news comes from recent job listings from the studio, revealing that the game will have magic-based combat. The game will also be supported for years and will feature a strong campaign, several side quests, and rich lore to set up an ongoing story that will last years.

Lond Studio has been on a hiring spree for its PS5 multiplayer title since 2021, as of January 2022 it confirmed that the team working on the multiplayer project was being built from the ground up. This likely means that the game won’t be released anytime soon. Sony Group Corporation also confirmed that it plans to release 10 live-service games by 2026, the recent hiring spree from London Studio lines up with Sony’s claims of increased investment in first-party studios and multiplayer projects.
