Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts IV at the Kingdom Hearts 20th-anniversary event, no platforms or release window were revealed. Kingdom Hearts IV will begin a new “epic new storyline” titled the Lost Master Arc, Square Enix has also described the game as being “Sora’s next adventure” which all but confirms that the iconic character will once again be the protagonist. The reveal also introduces us to the Quadratum, a large city with a realistic art style, and showcases some gameplay. More details about the game will be revealed at a later date.
