Crunchyroll has announced that it will be removing access to the Spring 2022 Season of anime content for free members, the change will also be applied to all seasonal releases which means that a paid subscription will be required to view simulcasts. Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will continue to offer free ad-supported content going forward, simulcast shows will only be available in the free tier the following season.

The first three episodes for the following simulcast shows will still be available:

• Spy x Family
• A Couple of Cuckoos
• Dawn of the Witch
• Tomodachi Game
• Skeleton Knight in Another World
• Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie
• The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody
• Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs
