The native PlayStation 5 version of Cyberpunk 2077 has been listed on the backend of the PlayStation Network hinting that the next-gen upgrade of the game could be around the corner. The listing has an updated logo and not much else so we still don’t know what exactly the next-gen upgrade entails.
CD Projekt Red delayed the next-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to the first and second quarter of 2022 respectively and confirmed back in November 2021 that they were “on track” to meet these new release windows. This then means that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of Cyberpunk 2077 will release sometime in February or March 2022.
Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 will both offer a free next-gen upgrade for existing owners of the game.
