Hideo Kojima has revealed in an interview on NHK Radio that Kojima Productions is working on a new AAA video game that he hopes “everyone will say they want to play” but did not go into specifics. Norman Reedus, star of the last game from Kojima Productions, previously revealed that negotiations were underway between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Kojima Productions for a sequel to Death Stranding. Kojima-san also revealed that he would like to work on smaller games that aren’t open-world games or shooters. Kojima-san also confirmed that the studio is working on an anime project, the project will be produced at the new Los Angeles office, which is dedicated to film, music and TV. No other details about the anime project were revealed.
