DELiGHTWORKS has announced the establishment of Lasengle, a new company that will house its video games division. Lasengle will be transferred to Aniplex as part of the acquisition of DELiGHTWORKS’ video game business. Lasengle will be led by Yoshinori Ono, former producer of the Street Fighter series and current president of DELiGHTWORKS. The transfer of Lasengle is expected to be completed by Spring 2022 and it includes the Fate/Grand Order development team. As previously stated, Aniplex plans to use Lasengle to expand its efforts in the video game market, DELiGHTWORKS will leave the video game industry altogether.
