Drew Williams-Rostron, former technical game designer at Lucid Games, has revealed that the studio is working on “unannounced first-party flagship AAA IP for the PlayStation 5”. Lucid Games are the developers of Destruction AllStars for the PlayStation 5 and have long been linked with a reboot of the Twisted Metal IP. Sony Interactive Entertainment is producing a live-action movie based on the Twisted Metal series with Anthony Mackie. No other details were revealed.
