Tencent has announced the acquisition of Turtle Rock Studios, developers of Back 4 Blood. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Turtle Rock Studios will continue to operate in an independent capacity, Phil Robb and Chris Ashton, co-founders of the studio, will retain their leadership positions. The acquisition will not affect Back 4 Blood, which is published by WB Games.
