Aniplex has announced that it has agreed terms to acquire the entirety of DELiGHTWORKS’ video game business, the share’s of the division will be transferred to a new company (the name of the new company will be revealed at a later date). The acquisition is expected to complete in the Spring of 2022 after approval from the relevant authorities. Aniplex plans to use the new team from DELiGHTWORKS to expand its efforts in the video game market, DELiGHTWORKS will leave the video game industry altogether. DELiGHTWORKS are the developers of the Fate/Grand Order mobile game.
