George Cacioppo, formerly the senior vice president of the PlayStation Network, has been fired by Sony Interactive Entertainment after appearing in a pedophilia sting video. Cacioppo was allegedly caught trying to meet with a 15-year-old boy he met on Grindr for sex. The video, which was by People vs. Preds., also claims that Cacioppo send various explicit images in the discussions. A spokesperson from People vs. Preds., also confirmed they released the video on the internet instead of handing it over to police because the police department doesn’t work with ‘Cyber groups’ like us”. It’s currently unclear as to whether law enforcement has taken any action. George Cacioppo has also yet to comment on the situation.
